D. Third-Party Data
KYC verification data disclosure:
  • We use SmileID's ARKit and TrueDepthAPI to capture face 3D spatial orientation and facial expressions.
  • We use this data to ensure the selfie being taken is of a live user for authentication and fraud reduction purposes.
  • The ARKit information is processed entirely locally and the spatial orientation/facial expression data is not submitted to any third (or first) parties.
Our app uses the TrueDepth camera and facial recognition technology, powered by Smile ID, solely for the purpose of liveness detection and identity verification. During this process, facial geometry and depth data are captured temporarily to confirm that the user is a real, present individual and not a spoofed or static image. This data is processed securely and transmitted to Smile ID's servers strictly for identity verification purposes. We do not store raw facial data on our servers, and the data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond verification.
